There are 12 oil & gas exploration contracts, 3 Coal Bed Methane (CBM) contracts, 4 Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) contracts and 1 Head of Agreement (HoA) contract were signed in 33rd Annual Meeting of Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) at JCC, Jakarta.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource said that the total investment of all contracts in the amount of 219.1 million US dollar and around 2000 manpower will be needed. In the period 2004 – 2008, the national income from oil & gas sector was increasing from 108 trillion rupiahs to 304 trillion rupiahs, he said.
